Position Overview
The Project Manager will plan, execute, and finalize projects that deliver outstanding value for our customers. The PM maintains a sense of urgency, responsibility, and resourcefulness throughout the project, sources and procures high-quality goods and services, and has them delivered/installed on-time and within budget. The PM builds and nurtures relationships with internal and external customers and suppliers through timely and clear communication, attention to needs and expectations, and a professional, proactive demeanour.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities
Direct and manage project development from beginning to end
Develop comprehensive project plans and associated communication documents
Estimate and coordinate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals
Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion
Recommend subsequent bid changes where necessary
Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders
Delegate tasks and responsibilities as appropriate
Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path
Track project milestones and deliverables
Determine the frequency and content of status reports, analyze project results, and troubleshoot problem areas
Proactively manage changes in the project scope, identify potential problems, and devise contingency plans
Conduct project reviews and make recommendations to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements with an on-going focus on continuous improvement
Develop best practices and tools for project execution and management
HazMat Certification to develop best practices and for compliance of all existing regulations for the transportation of hazardous material both domestically and internationally
Proactively manage the sales process for markets designated as “House Accounts,” which includes initial contact with the customer, the preparation of proposals, the execution of purchase orders, delivery of deposit/final invoicing and the release of the order to project management

Qualifications, Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience (8 years)
1-3 years of project management experience with proven record of success in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency with Microsoft office suite
Interior construction knowledge (preferred)
Excellent verbal, written, presentation and organizational skills
Knowledge/mastery of various project management software platforms/tools as well as ERP system proficiency (NetSuite)
Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, Project), NetSuite
Preferred Qualifications:
Construction background preferred, particularly malls, restaurants, and/or fitness centers
PMP or CMP certification (preferred)
Personal qualifications/characteristics:
Self-starter, committed to meeting deadlines and improving the customer experience
Process oriented
Able to see the big picture AND manage all the underlying details
Innovative, creative, out-of-the-box thinker
Intellectually curious with a demonstrated interest in learning
Resourceful, responsive, collaborative team player
Comprehends spatial relationships and design concepts

Travel Requirements:
Estimated travel is < 10%
Working Conditions:
Normal office environment or may be exposed to noise if working in a production area.
Personal Protective Equipment such as safety glasses and close-toe shoes required when in the production shop
Remote Customer Service and Project Management Representation require communication skills by phone, text as well as the ability to effectively communicate virtually.
Position Location:
Position is onsite Monday through Friday (8AM-5PM). Some travel as necessary.
Compensation:
Compensation for this position will be commensurate with the candidate's experience and qualifications, aligning with industry standards. The salary range is also based upon geographical market standards for the industry and position in those areas.
There is a possibility of a bonus(es) based on individual performance and merit to be paid at the sole discretion of the company, but bonus(es) are not guaranteed unless outlined in writing in the offer letter extended to the candidate selected for the position.
