Position Overview
As an integral member of the engineering team, this position will act as a liaison between the Plant Engineering and Manufacturing departments. The experienced CNC Programmer will possess the ability to plan, organize and carry out their duties in a style that supports manufacturing processes effectively and efficiently. This employee must possess strong interpersonal, communication and time management skills.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities
1. 2D Drafting/3D modelling of products for CNC machines.
2. Generating CNC programs manually and/or by using CAD/CAM software.
3. Develop and include set-up instructions within CNC programs.
4. Testing programs graphically and closely monitoring and instructing machine operations.
5. Reviewing existing CNC programs and making suitable alterations.
6. Control and catalogue CNC documentation, programs, and registers to meet security requirements.
7. Identify and implement production improvements.
8. Use various programs to provide nested programs to the shop floor.
9. Identify, design, and arrange manufacture of machine tooling and jigs.
10. Extensive liaison with manufacturing supervisors.

Qualifications, Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Preferred Qualifications:
High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
Prefer associate or bachelor’s degree in business or related field or equivalent experience.
Knowledge with programming, Nesting and machine operation is a plus.
Other Skills and Abilities:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or government regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, employees, customers, and the general public.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Attendance Requirement:
Must maintain regular and acceptable attendance at such a level as is determined in the company’s employee handbook. Must be available and willing to work overtime hours as the employer determines is necessary or desirable to meet its business needs. Must be available and willing to work such weekends and/or holidays as the employer determines are necessary or desirable to meet its business needs.

Working Conditions:
Office/manufacturing environment setting with occasional exposure to noise if working in or around a production area. Schedule is Monday through Friday, normal business hours. Constantly required to sit, use hands, talk, and listen. Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Position Location:
Position is onsite and not remote eligible.
Compensation:
Compensation for this position will be commensurate with the candidate's experience and qualifications, aligning with industry standards. The salary range for Monett, MO is also based upon geographical market standards for the industry and position in those areas.
There is a possibility of a bonus(es) based on individual performance and merit to be paid at the sole discretion of the company, but bonus(es) are not guaranteed unless outlined in writing in the offer letter extended to the candidate selected for the position.
