Your career as a Facilities Maintenance Technician, where you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety, functionality, and efficiency of our facilities. This dynamic position involves performing routine inspections, troubleshooting maintenance issues, and executing repairs across a variety of building systems. Duties
- Conduct regular inspections of HVAC systems, electrical wiring, plumbing, and structural components to identify potential issues early.
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks to extend the lifespan of equipment and facilities.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry problems efficiently to minimize downtime.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used for accurate tracking.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff or management to resolve issues swiftly.
- Assist with safety audits and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
- Support facility upgrades or renovations by coordinating with vendors or contractors when necessary.
Requirements
- Previous maintenance, handyman, or facilities experience preferred.
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, painting, drywall, and general repairs.
- Ability to safely use hand tools and power tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Weekend availability is preferred.
