Store Manager

Position Summary

The Store Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the store, including customer service, staff leadership, inventory management, buying and merchandising, and achieving sales goals. This position requires a hands-on leader who can multitask effectively, solve problems independently, and maintain a positive, productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Management

• Coach and develop store employees.
• Complete and/or Delegate tasks effectively while maintaining accountability for results.
• Foster a positive, professional, and customer-focused culture.
• Train team members on store systems, buying procedures, customer service standards, and operational processes.
• Provide support to employees.
• Report to owner on issues, ideas, inventory over/under supply, etc.

Customer Service

• Deliver outstanding customer service and create a welcoming shopping experience.
• Assist customers with product recommendations and purchasing decisions.
• Resolve customer concerns professionally and effectively.
• Read customer situations, body language, and tone to provide the appropriate level of service and support.

Store Operations

• Oversee daily opening and closing procedures.
• Maintain accurate cash handling and register operations.
• Ensure the sales floor is organized, clean, and properly merchandised.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with buying, pricing, and merchandising merchandise.
• Execute operational procedures and company standards consistently.
• Post occasional social media pics/videos (IG, FB, TikTok)

Multi-Tasking & Problem Solving

• Effectively manage multiple priorities during busy periods.
• Answer phones, assist customers, oversee register operations, and support staff simultaneously when necessary.
• Make sound decisions in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Adapt quickly to changing priorities and business needs.
