Our Associate of Science Veterinary Technology program at Platt College Los Angeles (Alhambra campus) is looking for Registered Veterinary Technicians to join our instructional team. 🐾 Full-Time RVT Instructor: $70,304-72,800 / year
The Veterinary Technology (VT) Instructor role combines classroom teaching, hands-on clinical skills instruction, and student mentorship within a structured veterinary technology program. Faculty typically split time between classroom instruction, lab supervision, and student support/mentoring. This role is ideal for an RVT who is passionate about education, mentorship, and hands-on skills training and who is committed to supporting students in a rigorous professional program. This is a full-time, exempt faculty position with significant instructional, student support, and in-person lab responsibilities.
Required Credentials and Experience:
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience as a Credentialed Veterinary Technician
- Current California Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) license in good standing
- Graduate of an AVMA-accredited Veterinary Technology Program (Associate degree or higher)
- Experience in training, mentoring, leadership, or supervision strongly preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills
- Commitment to student success and professional standards
