Lumber Millroom Machinist
Position Hours: 6:00a-2:30p (overtime as required)
Essential Functions
- Regular and on-time attendance for full shift schedule
- Seek and perform alternate, productive tasks to keep busy during unexpected down time
· Select and install proper tooling and complete all other aspects of machine set-up, including adjusting fences and shutters
· Load/ unload machines
· Glues and assemble product
· Pre-stain panels
· Load and operate door press
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Competencies:
- Ability to work with others as part of a team
- Attention to detail and recognition of discrepancies
- Ability to make decisions within a set of guidelines
- Ability to prioritize projects and meet deadlines
- Ability to enter and verify information in various menus on a computer or similar electronic display
