- Key Technologies: Must have very strong Microsoft Excel skills. Experience with PeopleSoft is a plus. You will interface with IT on core accounting systems for financial reporting.
What You Will Do: Key Responsibilities
Manage and execute core accounting duties critical to the organization’s financial health, with a focus on capital expenditures:
- Fixed Asset Management: Process all daily Asset Management system transactions (additions, disposals, transfers). Ensure capital expenditure invoices comply with the capitalization policy.
- Capital Project Accounting: Assist in managing major capital projects, including budget-to-actual tracking and reconciling project costs/invoices with project scopes.
- Month-End Close: Prepare essential monthly journal entries and balance sheet account analysis for fixed assets and other corporate areas.
- Process Improvement: Collaborate with function leaders and IT to identify and implement efficiencies in corporate accounting and reporting systems.
- General Support: Provide flexible project support to the accounting team as needed.
What You Will Bring: Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
- Experience: 1-2 years of professional accounting experience is ideal. PeopleSoft experience is a plus.
- Technical Skills: Very strong Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency with Windows.
- Key Competencies: Strong analytical skills, excellent time management to meet deadlines, self-motivation, and strong communication skills.

- Salary: Competitive salary in the area of $65,000.
