Your day shaping precision parts
Begin your shift by reviewing prints and preparing tooling for first-run setups. You'll dial in offsets, verify programs at the control, and make confident G-code edits to get parts running right the first time. Most days center on turning work, but you'll also touch CNC Swiss and 5-axis VMC operations as needed. Reliability, accuracy, and speed matter in this role.

What you'll do
- Own first-run setups for production, especially on turning centers.
- Operate and fine-tune Fanuc and/or Yasnac-controlled lathes.
- Program and adjust G-code at the machine as needed.
- Execute machine setups for production runs with minimal supervision.
- Rotate across CNC Lathe (2–4 axis), CNC Swiss Lathe, and CNC Mill (5 axis VMC) depending on work mix.
What you bring
- 5 years of turning machinist experience.
- Independent first-run setup capability.
- Experience with Fanuc and/or Yasnac controls.
- Proficient in English; stable employment history.
- Ability to consistently lift 50 lbs.
- Dependable commute to Blaine, MN.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with Makino, Haas, and Nakamura equipment.
- SolidWorks proficiency.
