Rubber Compression Molding Press Operator

Location: Minneapolis, MN 55412

Pay: $21.25 per hour

Schedule: 3rd Shift, Sunday–Thursday, 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM

A night on the molding floor

At 10:00 PM, you clock in, gear up, and take ownership of a molding press cell. You set up molds, place rubber material, and cycle the press using control panels to shape precision rubber components. Throughout the shift, you check parts for consistency, making adjustments to keep quality on target while maintaining safe, efficient flow.

What you'll do

• Run compression molding press equipment to load rubber into molds and complete press cycles.
• Use press control buttons/panels to form parts and meet production specifications.
• Monitor output for dimensional accuracy and surface quality; keep records as needed.
• Follow established safety, housekeeping, and production procedures at all times.

What you bring

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Hands-on mechanical aptitude and comfort working with machinery.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow written work instructions and verbal direction.
• Blueprint reading proficiency.

Physical demands

• Frequently lift 50 pounds and remain on your feet throughout the shift.

• Background check (no felonies within the past 7 years)

• Drug screen required
