This position requires flexibility and availability to respond to operational needs. The Administrator participates in being on-call and must be willing to work occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays as necessary to ensure consistent leadership and support for the community.
Operational Leadership

Operational Leadership
- Oversee the daily operations of the assisted living community to ensure a safe, efficient, and resident-centered environment.
- Ensure the community operates in compliance with all applicable Wisconsin assisted living regulations and company policies.
- Maintain appropriate staffing levels to meet resident care needs and regulatory requirements.
- Implement operational processes that promote efficiency, quality care, and resident satisfaction.
- Ensure residents receive quality care and services consistent with their individual service plans.
- Promote resident dignity, independence, and quality of life.
- Address resident and family concerns promptly and professionally.
- Support the admissions process, including assessments, move-ins, and transitions of care.
- Recruit, hire, train, supervise, and evaluate community staff.
- Provide coaching, mentoring, and performance management to maintain a strong team culture.
- Promote employee engagement, accountability, and professional development.
- Ensure staff follow policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain compliance with all state regulations governing assisted living communities in Wisconsin.
- Prepare for and participate in state surveys, inspections, and audits.
- Ensure documentation, policies, and procedures meet regulatory standards.
- Manage community budgets and financial performance.
- Monitor census, admissions, and occupancy goals.
- Approve invoices, manage expenses, and oversee purchasing in accordance with company policies.
- Collaborate with leadership to achieve operational and financial goals.
- Develop positive relationships with residents, families, healthcare providers, and community partners.
- Support marketing and outreach initiatives to promote the community and maintain occupancy goals.
- Represent the community in a professional and positive manner.
- Participate in on-call to respond to emergencies or operational needs.
- Maintain flexibility to work occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Provide leadership presence during critical situations or staffing needs.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Wisconsin Assisted Living Administrator License or Associates Degree in similar field.
- Prior leadership experience in assisted living, senior living, healthcare, or a related field preferred.
- Knowledge of Wisconsin assisted living regulations and best practices preferred.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities.
- Flexible and available to work beyond regularly scheduled hours, as well as weekends and holidays as needed.
