Platinum Care Group is hiring a compassionate and dependable caregiver to support a 90-year-old client in a residential setting. The schedule for this role is 3 days per week, 4 hours per day. This position focuses on companionship, supervision, and support with daily routines. The ideal caregiver is patient, attentive, and comfortable working with clients experiencing dementia while providing guidance, encouragement, and safety awareness throughout the shift.

What You’ll Do
- Provide companionship and socialization to support emotional well-being
- Supervise and oversee daily activities to ensure safety and structure
- Assist with activities of daily living with reminders and cueing as needed
- Support organization of personal belongings and daily routines
- Transport and escort client to appointments or outings as needed
- Encourage engagement in social and recreational activities
- Promote safety at all times, especially with fall risk and mobility support (walker use)
- Monitor and report any changes in condition, mood, or behavior to the care team
What We’re Looking For
- Caregiving experience preferred (training available)
- CNA or HHA certification a plus
- Experience supporting clients with dementia or memory challenges preferred
- Reliable transportation for travel within the Chicagoland area
- Ability to pass a background check
- Compassionate, dependable, and committed to providing quality care
