Platinum Beauty Supply is looking for a self motivated, outgoing Salon Consultant to join our team. This is a flexible, commission-based opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships with salon professionals and helping businesses find the right beauty products and solutions.
Position Details
- Hours: Approximately 8–16 hours per week
- Compensation: Commission-based
- Travel: Required; travel to local and surrounding salons and beauty businesses is part of the position
- Schedule: Flexible, with availability based on business needs and salon appointments
Responsibilities
- Visit and develop relationships with local salons, stylists, and beauty professionals
- Introduce salons to Platinum Beauty Supply's products and services
- Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate products
- Build and maintain a strong network of salon and beauty industry contacts
- Generate new business and follow up with prospective and existing customers
- Provide excellent customer service and represent Platinum Beauty Supply professionally
- Stay knowledgeable about beauty products, brands, trends, and industry needs
- Track customer interactions, leads, and sales opportunities
- Meet or exceed individual sales goals
Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who is:
- Friendly, confident, and comfortable approaching new businesses
- Passionate about the beauty and salon industry
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Strong at building relationships and communicating with customers
- Comfortable with sales and commission-based compensation
- Organized, dependable, and professional
- Willing and able to travel to salons in the area
- Previous salon, beauty industry, retail, or sales experience is a plus *Would be great for a cosmetologist wanting some hours outside the salon
