Our client is a rapidly growing healthcare technology company building smart, connected devices that automate compliance and monitoring tasks for healthcare facilities. Their cloud-based platform removes the need for manual testing and paperwork by continuously monitoring critical infrastructure, generating regulator-approved reports, and alerting teams when issues arise. With over 150,000 devices deployed across 3,000 facilities nationwide, the company is scaling rapidly and offers an opportunity to join as an Account Manager, owning account expansion and driving revenue growth within an established customer base.
Responsibilities of an Account Manager:
- Own the full account expansion cycle from discovery through to close, managing upsell and cross-sell opportunities end-to-end
- Lead monthly business reviews (QBRs) with customers to assess performance, uncover new compliance gaps, and identify growth opportunities
- Develop and present compelling proposals, including ROI and labor-saving analyses tailored to each client
- Manage and progress expansion opportunities through qualification, proposal, negotiation, and close
- Convert pilot programs into full deployments by building strong business cases and securing stakeholder buy-in
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth implementation and successful rollout of expanded solutions
- Maintain accurate pipeline, forecasting, and activity tracking within the CRM system
Requirements of an Account Manager:
- 2-3 years of experience in an Account Management, Account Executive, or Customer Success role
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding upsell, cross-sell, or revenue targets
- Strong consultative selling skills with the ability to uncover and quantify customer pain points
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with confidence engaging multiple stakeholders
- Comfort working in a start-up or high-growth environment
- Experience managing pipeline and account activity within CRM systems such as HubSpot or Salesforce
- Ability to work onsite in Manhattan
- Exposure to healthcare, facilities management, or compliance-driven industries is beneficial but not required
