Position Summary
Plateau Excavation is seeking a Project Coordinator to support project operations from preconstruction through completion. This role will work closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, accounting teams, and field personnel to help ensure projects remain organized, on schedule, and operating efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist Project Managers with daily project coordination and administration
- Support subcontractor and vendor communication
- Track project documentation, RFIs, submittals, and schedules
- Assist with project startup and closeout processes
- Coordinate meetings, notes, and project reporting
- Help maintain project files and contract documentation
- Support billing, purchase orders, and project tracking systems
- Coordinate with field teams to gather updates and maintain communication flow
- Assist in ensuring projects meet deadlines and client expectations
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or related field preferred
- Construction industry experience preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with construction software platforms is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
