Import Logistics Specialist
Core Responsibilities:
•Customs & Compliance: Ensure all imports meet local, federal, and international laws, managing duties, and taxes.
•Logistics Coordination: Arrange transportation, track shipments, and work with freight forwarders, carriers, and customs brokers for smooth delivery.
•Documentation: Prepare, review, and maintain accurate import/export documents (invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, etc.).
•Vendor & Supplier Management: Build and maintain relationships with international suppliers, and resolve issues.
•Record Keeping: Maintain detailed records of all international transactions, expenses (freight, duties, etc.), and trade activities.
•Communication: Keep up with regular communications with suppliers and internal teams
Key Skills & Qualifications:
•Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
•Excellent communication abilities
•Attention to detail
•Knowledge of international trade regulations and customs procedures a plus
•Familiarity with supply chain management a plus.
