Responsibilities
- Perform patient intake procedures, including collecting medical histories and documenting vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and temperature.
- Assist with clinical procedures by preparing patients for surgery.
- Support physicians with procedures in the OR
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) systems accurately by documenting patient information.
- Handle administrative tasks including appointment scheduling, patient check-in/out processes, insurance verification, and maintaining organized medical documentation.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Medical Assistant in outpatient clinics
- Certification in basic life support (BLS)
- Ability to perform clinical duties such as taking vital signs, assisting with intake procedures, and supporting inpatient or outpatient care activities.
- Strong communication skills with a focus on patient service excellence; capable of working collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams across various medical settings.
