Maintenance Manager – Extrusion

*Located in a rural area in Northern Texas ~2 hours from 2 major metro areas. Relocation is available*

An established organization is building a new greenfield facility in and is seeking a maintenance leader responsible for getting the plant up and running and setting the long-term standard for equipment reliability.

This role will be heavily involved in the buildout, commissioning, and ramp-up, with full ownership of maintenance, team development, and equipment performance as the plant scales over the next couple of years.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all maintenance activities for a new extrusion facility during startup and ramp-up
• Work hands-on with installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of new production lines
• Build and develop the maintenance team, starting with initial hires and scaling to full staffing
• Establish preventive and predictive maintenance programs from the ground up
• Troubleshoot PLCs and support controls-related issues on new equipment
• Partner closely with plant leadership to ensure successful startup and ongoing production stability
• Manage spare parts, inventory, and maintenance planning in a startup environment

Requirements

• Strong background in plastics extrusion is required
• Experience with pipe, profile, or similar extrusion processes is highly preferred
• Proven maintenance leadership experience within manufacturing
• Hands-on troubleshooting capability across mechanical, electrical, and controls systems
• Experience in startup or greenfield environments is preferred but not required
