About the Role
Interventions Technologist: Requirements / Experience
- 7 years of experience in Data & Analytics, Business Intelligence, or Reporting roles.
- Strong experience in Wellview
- Strong SQL expertise, including complex query development and performance optimization.
- Hands-on experience with Power BI
- Experience in data modeling, analysis, testing, development, and deployment.
- Experience supporting large-scale data environments with batch and/or near-real-time data.
- Oil & gas industry experience strongly preferred; upstream experience preferred.
- Experience leveraging AI-enabled tools (e.g., Claude) to support analytics and decision-making.
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail.
Key Accountabilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable data models and reporting structures supporting interventions analytics.
- Develop and maintain complex T‑SQL queries, stored procedures, and scripts to support dashboards, reports, and ad hoc analysis.
- Own the development, enhancement, and modernization of Power BI, SQL reporting, and embedded visualization outputs (e.g., D3, HighCharts).
- Partner with business and data-domain owners to translate requirements into robust analytical solutions.
- Establish and evolve business metrics and KPIs to support operational decision-making.
- Deliver timely ad hoc analyses and visualizations to support interventions leadership.
- Lead the redesign and conversion of legacy reports and databases into modern, maintainable solutions.
- Apply AI-enabled tools (e.g., Claude) to enhance data exploration, diagnostics, and insight development.
- Collaborate closely with the Data & Analytics team to support enterprise reporting and analytics initiatives.
- Be the SME for Wellview to help support the intervention team
Essential Education
- BS in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or equivalent relevant experience.
Technical Leadership & Ways of Working
- Serves as a technical authority for interventions analytics and reporting.
- Influences data-driven decision-making through clear visualizations and analytical rigor.
- Promotes continuous improvement in analytical methodologies, tooling, and standards.
- Works effectively across distributed teams and cross-functional stakeholders.
Location
- Houston or Denver based.
Monday - Friday (40 Hours / Week)
Hybrid Schedule - 1 week working from office; 1 week working from home
Salary : $63 - $69
