At plantscapes co. our mission is to "Build & maintain landscapes that inspire people to spend more time outdoors", and we work towards that mission everyday. Our team is a small but MIGHTY, and we are currently looking for new craftsmen and craftswomen to join the team. This opportunity is for a fine gardener who will be responsible for:
- Core garden tasks including cleaning, weeding, mulching, deadheading
- Pruning and shearing shrubs & small ornamental trees when needed/appropriate
- Identifying opportunities on how to improve the beauty/sustainability of our customer's landscapes
- Watering new and existing plants as needed
- Installing annuals, perennials & small plant materials
Qualifications
- Having a growth mindset & great attitude
- Enjoy being engaged in the learning & teaching process
- Experience in planting, growing and maintaining a variety of plants and flowers
- Knowledge of horticulture and gardening techniques
- Familiarity with basic landscape tasks like mulching, weeding and pruning
- Proficiency in using hand and light power tools for gardening tasks
- Background in agriculture and landscaping principles
- Ability to identify plant diseases & issues is a bonus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour
