What are the responsibilities and job description for the Banquet Bartender position at Plantation Golf and Country Club?
- Assists and performs all tasks associated with presetting, serving, and breaking down rooms where food service activities are performed.
- Prepares high-quality beverages, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, to order upon request.
- Proficiently take orders and serve members/guests according to Plantation Golf & Country Club standards and all local and state legal guidelines.
- Monitors members and their guests to ensure safety.
- Assists members with menu knowledge, specials and features.
Server/Bartender Recieve:
- All employees receive daily employee meals, golf privileges w/reciprocal opportunities, and an annual holiday fund.
Full time Employees are awarded:

Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- One years experience as a Bartender in a country club, upscale hotel, or free-standing lounge environment.
- Exceptional guest service skills.
- Ability to stand, stoop, bend and lift items weighing up to 50 pounds repetitively during the entire shift.
- Ability to push, pull or otherwise move portable bar units from storage area to functional areas.
- Ability to speak, read and understand the English language.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to include nights, weekends and holidays.
Preferred Skills and Abilities:
- Certifications: "TIPS" or equivalent responsible vendor training, ServSafe training.
