- Process and reconcile charitable contributions with a high degree of accuracy, timeliness, and confidentiality.
- Ensure prompt and personalized donor acknowledgment in alignment with stewardship standards and compliance requirements.
- Maintain and continuously improve gift processing procedures to enhance efficiency, internal controls, and audit readiness.
- Partner with Finance to support reconciliation, reporting, and revenue tracking processes.
- Maintain comprehensive, accurate, and up-to-date donor records across individual, foundation, and corporate portfolios.
- Lead and support ongoing data hygiene initiatives to strengthen database integrity and reporting reliability.
- Develop and generate reports, dashboards, and data analyses to support fundraising strategy, campaign tracking, and leadership decision-making.
- Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and optimize CRM functionality.
- Serve as a responsive and professional point of contact for donor inquiries via phone and email.
- Support stewardship initiatives including acknowledgments, impact reporting, and donor communications.
- Conduct research on individual, foundation, and corporate prospects to assess giving capacity, philanthropic interests, and alignment with organizational priorities.
- Prepare briefing materials and background summaries to inform cultivation and solicitation strategies.
- Track funding opportunities and assist with pipeline management.
- Collaborate closely with Development, Finance, and other key staff to fulfill reporting and data requests.
- Assist in the coordination, production, and quality control of development materials, reports, and collateral.
- Support special initiatives, fundraising campaigns, and department-wide projects as assigned.
- Contribute to process improvement efforts and help strengthen department-wide systems and best practices.
- Provide guidance and oversight to volunteers, interns, and temporary staff, as appropriate.
- Support onboarding and training related to development systems and procedures.
- Perform additional duties that contribute to the overall success of the Development department.

- A combination of education and experience that demonstrates the ability to successfully perform the responsibilities of the role. Typical qualifications include:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 2 - 4 years of relevant professional experience in development operations, nonprofit administration, fundraising, finance support, or related field preferred.
- Demonstrated experience working with donor databases/CRM systems, Salesforce preferred.
- Exceptional attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Ability to maintain accuracy and focus while performing detailed and process-driven work.
- Strong customer service orientation with a donor-centered mindset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and systems.
