What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lifeguard (part-time or full-time) position at Planet Swim LLC?
We're looking for a reliable Lifeguard who puts teamwork and safety as their top priority.
Schedule:
Monday - Friday: 6:00 am - 8:00 pm
Saturday: 9:00 am - 4:00 pm
Sunday: 9:00 am - 4:00 pm
Qualifications:
- 17 years and older
- past Lifeguarding experience preferred
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintains constant surveillance of the pool area.
- Knows/reviews all emergency procedures and responds to emergency situations immediately.
- Knows, understands, and consistently applies safety rules, policies and guidelines for the pool and aquatic area.
- Performs cleaning/sanitation duties as needed.
- Performs equipment checks and ensures appropriate equipment is available as needed.
- Checks the pool for hazardous conditions when arriving.
- Attends all staff meetings and training as required.
Certifications:
- Red Cross Lifeguard Certification
- Certification Support: Candidates who are not currently certified may be eligible for reimbursement of lifeguard certification costs upon successful completion and hire
Compensation:
- Starting at $16/hour
- Holidays compensated at 1.5 x pay
