$55.07/hour - $65.07/hour W2
Required Education/Experience:
- Completed bachelor's degree (BA or BS) in Epidemiology, Public Health, Biostatistics, Statistics, Biology, Health Sciences, Population Health, Pharmacology, Biomedical Sciences, or a closely related scientific field.
- 4 years of hands-on experience, post-graduation, in epidemiology, population health, health outcomes research, or related research/analytical work.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and statistic programs such as R or SAS.
- Strong knowledge of epidemiological principles and methodologies.
- Strong knowledge of national and international health statistics, surveillance data and health surveys in defined disease areas, in particular their strengths and weaknesses.
- Familiarity with literature reviews and evidence synthesis methods such as meta-analyses.
- Experience designing, conducting, analyzing and interpreting epidemiological studies (includes healthcare/pharmaceutical HTA related experience) and/or Real-World Data (RWD) studies.
- Knowledge or experience working within the pharmaceutical industry is strongly preferred.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Position Summary:
- Primary responsibilities include generating, validating, and managing epidemiology data and forecasts.
- These insights will be crucial for supporting access initiatives, strategic planning, and business development across the company's extensive product portfolio.
- The position requires close collaboration with a diverse group of internal stakeholders, including access teams, business analysts, and market planners.
- Additionally, the role will involve working with external epidemiology data providers, such as CROs and consultants.
Position Responsibilities:
- Generate and maintain epidemiological patient forecasts for assigned disease/therapeutic areas, supporting all clinical development stages and providing essential input for business planning.
- Develop advanced population health analyses, including population-level and subgroup modeling.
- Develop and maintain R code for new epidemiology forecasts using the new digital system.
- Identify, assess, and utilize high-quality epidemiological data sources to generate validated target population models.
- Publish and present epidemiology work and population health analyses externally.
- Lead alignment discussions and collaborate with key internal stakeholders (global and affiliate teams) to ensure consistency and consensus on all epidemiological data and assumptions throughout the product lifecycle.
- Drive operational excellence by supporting the implementation of new ways of working within the team, including the development and adoption of digitalization efforts to streamline data analysis, sharing, and forecasting processes.
- Develop and deliver best-in-class knowledge management tools and insights-sharing practices.
- Support access excellence by collecting, analyzing, storing, and sharing critical access-related data and information.
- Directly contribute to the continuous evolution of Global Access by expertly identifying gaps and opportunities to improve patient access and outcomes, supporting a move toward an outcome-focused, agile organization.
Salary : $55 - $65
