Planet Nail Lounge is a brand-new, upscale beauty destination in Merrillville/Hobart, IN. We are gearing up for our Grand Opening in March 2026 and seeking a charismatic, professional, and trend-conscious receptionist to join our founding team.
The Role
As our Front Desk Lead, you are more than just a receptionist—you are the first and last impression of our brand. We are looking for a vibrant individual who excels in customer service, loves the beauty industry, and thrives in a fast-paced, stylish environment.

- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written English skills. You’re a "people person" who can make every client feel like a VIP.
- Social Media Savvy: Comfortable with TikTok/Instagram trends is a major plus (we love creating content!).
- Tech-Friendly: Quick at learning booking software and managing multiple tasks with a smile.

Responsibilities
- Warmly greet clients and manage the check-in/check-out process.
- Coordinate appointments and manage the daily schedule efficiently.
- Professional Turn Management: Assist management in organizing technician rotations fairly and transparently.
- Maintain the aesthetics and organization of the front lounge area.
- Know how to do and edit social media contents (photos/videos of the salon’s work).
Requirements
- Age 21 .
- Prior experience in hospitality, retail, or beauty is preferred but not required—we hire for personality and train for skill!
- Availability for weekend shifts.
