Compensation
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1800 - $1840 per week, depending on experience
- Location: Sierra Vista, AZ 85635 (Arizona nursing jobs)
- Healthcare Setting: Acute Care – Med/Surg Telemetry Unit
- Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 10/13/2025 – End: 1/12/2026)
- Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
- Hours per Week: 36
- Weekend Requirement: Occasional weekends required
- Unit Size: 34 beds
- Patient Ratios: 6:1
- Electronic Health Record (EHR): Cerner
- Active RN license (Arizona or compact state preferred)
- Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience (travel RN experience a plus)
- ACLS and BLS certifications required
- Strong clinical and healthcare experience in acute care settings
- Flexible, team-oriented attitude with excellent communication skills
- Ability to float to inpatient holds as needed
- Scrub attire: Any color; closed-toed shoes required
- Provide high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in a Med/Surg Telemetry environment
- Monitor and manage patients with surgical, general medical, and telemetry needs
- Operate and maintain equipment such as Alaris pumps, SCD machines, feeding tubes, and telemetry monitors
- Accurately document patient care in Cerner EHR
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain flexibility to assist with various patient populations and float as required
