- Location: Elko, NV 89801 – Experience western charm, colorful murals, and access to the Ruby Mountains for hiking, fishing, skiing, and more.
- Employment Type: Locum Tenens (Travel RN Contract)
- Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 10/27/2025 – End: 1/26/2026)
- Healthcare Setting: Acute Care (Medicine, Surgery, Telemetry, Pediatrics)
- Shift: 12 Hour Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
- Hours per Week: 36 (Guaranteed)
- Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1800-$1840
- Patient Population: Pediatric, Adult, Geriatric
- Unit Size: 23 beds (Patient ratio 1:5)
- Electronic Health Record: MEDHOST
- Active RN license (Registered Nurse)
- Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg nursing experience
- ACLS and PALS certifications (may be obtained within 60-90 days of start)
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
- Ability to float to other hospital departments as needed
- Must reside more than 60 miles from facility to qualify for travel nursing status
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in acute care settings: medicine, surgery, telemetry, and pediatrics
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, administer medications, and collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Operate equipment such as Omnicell Medication Dispenser, Baxter pumps, Masimo Monitors, and GE Telemetry Monitoring system
- Document patient care accurately in MEDHOST EHR
- Float to other units as required based on patient census and department needs
- Deliver compassionate care to a diverse patient population, including pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients
