Emergency Room RN Job Details
- Location: Paducah, KY 42003 (Kentucky healthcare jobs)
- Facility: STEMI and Stroke Certified Emergency Department
- Assignment Type: Travel RN Contract
- Start Date: August 28, 2025
- End Date: October 23, 2025
- Duration: 8 weeks
- Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), 3 shifts per week
- Total Hours: 36 hours per week
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $2020-$2070
- Patient Ratios: 1:4/5
- Orientation: 16 hours
- Scrub Color: Dark colors
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Kentucky or compact state
- Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room nursing experience
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications required; TNCC preferred
- Proficient with Epic electronic health record (EHR) system
- Experience in STEMI and Stroke Certified Facilities preferred
- Ability to provide care for neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
- Two professional references required
- COVID-19 vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
- Deliver high-quality emergency nursing care to diverse patient populations in a fast-paced ER setting
- Administer blood products, perform phlebotomy, start IVs, and manage procedural sedation
- Adhere to isolation precautions and follow facility protocols
- Document patient care using the Epic charting system
- Float to other hospital units as needed
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, including IV, PT, RT, and pharmacy
- Participate in orientation and complete all required training modules
