Duties
- Greet visitors and members warmly, providing information and guiding them to appropriate services or locations
- Manage check-in/check-out processes using POS (Point of Sale) systems and cash handling procedures
- Assist with event management tasks, including setup, guest registration, and logistical coordination
- Handle guest inquiries via phone or in person, ensuring clear communication and positive interactions
- Enforce safety protocols by conducting safety checks, supporting first aid or CPR as needed, and maintaining emergency readiness
- Support retail sales activities by promoting available services or products and processing transactions accurately
- Manage manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting of supplies or equipment while adhering to safety standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area and event spaces to ensure a welcoming environment
Experience
- Previous experience working in customer service, hospitality, or retail environments with direct guest interaction
- Familiarity with event venue operations or outdoor work settings is highly desirable
- Experience managing conflicts effectively while maintaining professionalism and composure
- Knowledge of safety procedures including first aid and CPR certification preferred
- Background in food service, resort operations, theater production, or lifeguard experience adds valuable insight
- Hands-on experience with POS systems, cash handling, manual handling, and processing transactions is advantageous
- Ability to communicate confidently through public speaking or guest services roles enhances your effectiveness in this position
