Overview

The Marketing Operations Intern will report to the VP of Marketing and will work out the company’s headquarters, in Irvine, California.

Job Duties

• Assist in building and managing outbound campaign workflows using AI-powered tools (e.g., Clay, Outreach, Retell, etc.)
• Build an agentic management layer to oversee the effectiveness and quality of agents
• Research and build targeted prospect lists using AI enrichment tools and intent data sources, to include incorporating intent within the product or via the website
• Help draft, test, and iterate on outbound email sequences and LinkedIn messaging using AI copywriting assistants
• Maintain and clean customer data (e.g., Hubspot, Salesforce, Snowflake) to ensure accurate contact records, targeting, and pipeline tracking
• Monitor outbound campaign performance metrics (open rates, reply rates, conversion rates) and compile reporting dashboards
• Research and evaluate new AI tools and workflows to improve outbound efficiency and personalization at scale
• Document SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) for outbound processes and AI tool usage
  
  

Skills And Qualifications

• Current full-time student at a top 25 MBA program
• Strong written communication skills with an eye for persuasive, concise copy
• Curiosity and comfort experimenting with AI tools (Claude, etc.)
• Experience with tools like Clay, Apollo.io, Outreach, Instantly, or Lemlist (or equivalents)
• Familiarity with CRM platforms (HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar)
• Ability to analyze data and draw actionable insights from campaign metrics
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously
• Self-starter mindset with the ability to work independently and iterate quickly
• Comfort with prompt engineering and getting structured outputs from AI models
• Familiarity with email deliverability concepts (SPF, DKIM, DMARC)
