The Role:

The Systems Integration Specialist will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining integrations between business systems spanning internal, customer, and partner systems. This role requires a strong understanding of APIs, data formats, and other business-to-business integrations. The Systems Integration Specialist will work closely with business analysts, stakeholders, customers, and partners to ensure seamless data flow and process automation across the entire enterprise ecosystem.

Essential Functions / Major Responsibilities:

  • Embody and support the core values of TEAM (Trust, Empowerment, Accountability, Mesh) in all interactions, both internally and externally.
  • Design, develop, and maintain integrations between systems using APIs and integration platforms.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand integration requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Implement and monitor integration workflows using tools such as Celigo, Workato, Power Automate, or similar.
  • Ensure data integrity and consistency across integrated systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues in a timely manner.
  • Document integration processes, data mappings, and error handling procedures.
  • Participate in testing and validation of integration solutions.
  • Stay current with integration technologies and best practices.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook and in any Departmental Manual.
  • Accept and perform additional job duties, assignments or projects as directed by your immediate supervisor or management for the betterment of the Company.

Specific Job Skill / Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of APIs, data formats (JSON, XML), and integration concepts.
  • Experience with integration tools (iPaaS) such as Celigo, Workato, Power Automate, and similar.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or JavaScript.
  • Familiarity with API testing tools like Postman or Swagger.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to make sound business decisions.
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
  • Curious, possessing a growth mindset, and adaptable to changing environments.

Education, Certifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in systems integration or a related field.
  • Relevant certifications in integration platforms or technologies are a plus.
  • Remain current on the latest technology regarding essential functions of the position.
  • Possess and maintain certifications as may be required by the company and/or supervisor.

Job Conditions:

  • Demanding, fast-paced work environment.
  • Full-time position (40 hrs./week) with work hours generally Monday through Friday with flexibility in work schedule for start and finish times as determined by supervisor as well as occasional overtime as necessary including nights and/or weekends.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time and regularly bend, crawl, climb and squat.
  • Must be able to bend, stoop, stand and sit at a desk all for extended periods of time.
  • Inside average office environment with average noise levels.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid automobile driver’s license at all times.
  • Local and/or national travel required
