Plan Notice is a growing company which provides regulatory noticing solutions to Third Party Administrators (TPAs) and Recordkeepers in the retirement plan industry. We're looking for a detail-driven, motivated individual to join our team as a Data Administrator. This is a fantastic entry-level opportunity for someone early in their career who wants to build real, marketable skills in data management, technology, and the retirement plan services industry. No prior industry experience is required, we're looking for the right attitude, sharp attention to detail, and a genuine willingness to learn. We'll provide hands-on training on our proprietary systems.
About the Role
As a Data Administrator, you will be primarily responsible for entering, reviewing, and maintaining data within the Plan Notice platform, our proprietary system used to generate and distribute regulatory notices for retirement plans. Accuracy is essential: the data you enter directly impacts whether our clients' notices go out correctly and on time. You'll work closely with team members across departments, learning our systems and processes while developing skills that will serve you throughout your career.
What You'll Do
- Enter, update, and maintain plan and participant data within the proprietary Plan Notice system with a high degree of accuracy
- Review incoming data files from clients, TPAs, and recordkeepers for errors, inconsistencies, or missing information
- Follow established data entry procedures and checklists specific to the Plan Notice platform
- Run quality checks and audits to confirm data accuracy before notices are generated or delivered
- Correct or flag data discrepancies and escalate issues to the appropriate team member
- Assist with processing noticing campaigns and supporting materials as needed
- Support day-to-day administrative and data-related tasks across departments
- Communicate proactively with team members when questions or discrepancies arise
What We're Looking For
- Exceptional attention to detail, you catch things others miss, especially in repetitive data entry work
- Strong computer skills, including comfort with Microsoft Office (Excel in particular) and the ability to learn a proprietary software platform quickly
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage high-volume data entry accurately and on schedule
- A reliable, self-motivated work ethic and a genuine eagerness to learn
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- A positive, professional attitude and a willingness to take on new responsibilities
Preferred (Not Required)
- A college degree
- Familiarity to the retirement plan, financial services, or HR/benefits space
- Prior experience with data entry, administrative work, or customer service
