Weekend Day Radiologic Technologist

Role Overview: A Radiologic Technologist responsible for performing radiology and diagnostic tests in a clinic setting, under the supervision of a healthcare provider.

Key Responsibilities

• Recognize and assess urgent/emergency patient needs, initiating appropriate procedures.
• Follow clinic protocols for managing electronic medical records, including test results, filing, and record repairs.
• Apply specialized radiology skills to assist in patient care and treatment.
• Perform routine and skilled radiology and diagnostic tests for patients of all ages.
  
  

Qualifications & Skills

• Maintain a valid State of Iowa Radiology permit.
• Completion of an AMA-approved two-year radiologic technology program and AART certification.
• Knowledge of radiographic techniques, anatomy, and clinic policies.
• Clinic or physician office experience preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or obtain within three months.
• Mandatory Reporter abuse training completion within three months.
  
  

Additional Details: Part-time role with weekend shifts, typically 8 hours per day, totaling 24 hours weekly. Focused on delivering compassionate, patient-centered care while adhering to safety and procedural standards.
