- Ensuring patient safety and comfort by explaining procedures and maintaining a calming environment.
- Prioritizing workflow based on patient condition and managing timely patient movement.
- Following OSHA regulations, maintaining cleanliness, and proper equipment handling.
- Sharing information effectively with team members and participating in staff meetings.
- Operating ultrasound equipment safely, adjusting settings for optimal images, and performing quality control.
- Assessing image quality and determining the need for repeats.
- High School Diploma or GED; Associate's in Diagnostic Medical Sonography preferred.
- Certification in diagnostic medical ultrasound (ARDMS or ARRT); ARDMS certification required within the first year.
- 1 year sonography experience preferred.
- Strong communication skills, ability to work under stress, multitask, and adapt to diverse patient age groups.
- Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 100 lbs, and work with safety equipment.
Salary : $40 - $54
