- Conduct patient assessments and gather health data involving patients, families, and healthcare providers.
- Coordinate patient care plans to ensure interventions are safe, timely, and appropriate.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members in person, via phone, and in writing.
- Individualize patient and family education based on thorough assessments to meet specific needs.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to evaluate nursing practice effectiveness.
- Maintain current knowledge of nursing standards, laws, and regulations.
- Preferred experience in nursing
- Associate's degree or BSN from an accredited school
- Current Illinois nursing license
- CPR certification from the American Heart Association
- ACLS certification within 3 months of hire
