Registered Nurse - Travel - Progressive Care Unit

Role: Travel Stepdown RN

Responsibilities: Provide specialized care to patients transitioning from intensive care, including monitoring cardiac rhythms, administering medications, preparing equipment, assisting with cardiac procedures, and documenting patient conditions. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care, focusing on cardiac health, safety, and education. Respond to cardiac emergencies and adhere to safety and infection control protocols.

Qualifications & Skills:

• One year of recent Stepdown RN experience
• Current valid RN license in accordance with state regulations
• Progressive Care Certified Nurse (PCCN) certification
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
• Physical ability to move equipment and assist with procedures
• Strong mental resilience to work under pressure and handle frequent public contact
• Visual acuity and effective communication skills
