- Providing direct patient care using the nursing process, including medication administration, specimen collection, and clinical treatments.
- Documenting patient care accurately and timely.
- Monitoring, communicating patient conditions, and collaborating with the care team to ensure a safe, therapeutic environment.
- Assisting with activities of daily living and supporting discharge, transfer, and referral processes.
- Delivering age- and culture-appropriate education to patients and families.
- Advocating for patients' physical and emotional well-being and participating in performance improvement initiatives.
- Providing quality care across shifts and units, with potential on-call duties.
- RN license and Basic Life Support certification (within 30 days).
- ACLS and PALS certifications within six months preferred.
- Experience and additional certifications such as Handle With Care or ASLS are advantageous.
- Strong collaboration, communication, and patient advocacy skills.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and adapt to various shifts or units.
