Registered Nurse - Charge

This role involves providing leadership and coordination within a critical care unit, ensuring quality patient care and effective staffing during assigned shifts.

Key responsibilities include

• assigning, educating, and monitoring nursing/support staff,
• assessing patient needs and developing care assignments,
• collaborating with advanced practice providers,
• evaluating care effectiveness and addressing issues,
• responding to care complaints, and
• contributing to staff hiring, training, and evaluations.
  
  

Qualifications require a nursing degree from an accredited school, at least one year of RN experience, and appropriate state licensure.

Physical demands encompass

• constant standing, walking, speaking, and vision use,
• frequent lifting up to 25 lbs,

Necessary certifications include BLS, ALS, and PALS or NRP based on the state of practice.
