We are seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to join our Rehabilitation team within a progressive Critical Access Hospital.

- Instructing, motivating, and assisting patients with functional activities and exercises according to protocols and regulations.
- Reviewing physician referrals, patient conditions, and medical records to determine appropriate treatment plans.
- Performing assessments of strength, motor skills, sensory perception, cognition, and daily activities; documenting findings to develop or adjust treatments.
- Recording treatment progress, responding to responses, and ensuring accurate documentation and adherence to physician orders.
- Collaborating with physicians and healthcare professionals to optimize patient care and communicate effectively with patients and families.
- Planning and delivering educational sessions on occupational therapy topics for staff, students, and community groups.
- Performing additional duties as assigned.
- Graduation from an accredited Occupational Therapy program or certification as a COTA.
- Valid license in the state of Nebraska.
- Current BLS certification.
