- Directing patients to exam areas and preparing them for procedures
- Recording vital signs and patient information for clinicians or RNs
- Administering medication, conducting tests, and instructing patients on procedures
- Notifying pharmacies about prescriptions and refills
- Collecting and transporting specimens
- Managing hospitalizations, maintaining exam areas, and cleaning equipment
- Keeping logs, inventories, and site readiness documentation
- Performing telephone screenings and additional assigned duties
- Graduation from an accredited LVN program
- Active, unrestricted LVN license (California)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or ability to obtain it
- IV and blood withdrawal certification
- Advanced cardiac life support (ACLS)
- Pediatric advanced life support (PALS)
- Over one year of LVN/LPN experience
