Interventional Radiology Supervisor

Role Overview

The Supervisor Interventional Lab oversees daily operations, ensuring high-quality care, compliance, and efficient management of interventional radiology and cardiac cath labs.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with staff scheduling, performance evaluations, and compliance monitoring.
• Implement performance improvement initiatives, develop policies, and ensure regulatory standards are met.
• Collaborate with physicians and staff to enhance quality indicators and patient outcomes.
• Participate in teaching, audits, and equipment evaluations.
• Maintain documentation, coordinate financial and productivity data, and support operational excellence.
  
  

Leadership Duties:

• Provide clear vision, motivate, coach, and foster a high-performing, inclusive team.
• Lead change management and promote collaboration across departments.
• Support recruitment, retention, and fiscal strategies.
  
  

Qualifications & Skills:

• Graduate of Radiologic Technologist, Cardiovascular Specialist, or Nursing program.
• At least two years of clinical experience in interventional or cath lab settings.
• Licensure as a Radiologic Technologist, Cardiovascular Specialist, or RN.
• CPR and ACLS certification.
• Excellent communication, organization, judgment, and collaboration skills.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree or BSN.
• Previous leadership experience.
• Certifications such as RCIS or RCES.
  
  

Physical & Work Environment:

Heavy physical demands including lifting, moving, and working in diverse environments, with exposure to biohazards and varying conditions.

The role requires agility, visual and coordination skills, and potential travel between facilities.
