Position Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to provide pediatric home health services under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.
In this role, you will provide engaging therapy sessions, support treatment plan implementation, and help children improve their communication skills. This position offers flexibility, strong clinical support, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact with pediatric clients and their families.
Schedule Options: Full-Time (25 sessions/week) and Part-Time (12 sessions/week) positions available.
Responsibilities
- Implement speech and language treatment plans developed by the supervising SLP
- Provide engaging, play-based therapy sessions in the home setting
- Support treatment for areas such as articulation, phonology, expressive/receptive language, pragmatic language, fluency, and AAC (as applicable)
- Document therapy sessions and client progress accurately and in a timely manner
- Collaborate with supervising SLP regarding client progress and treatment updates
- Educate caregivers on strategies to support communication development at home
- Maintain professional communication with families and team members
- Follow all supervision guidelines and state regulations for SLPA practice
- Maintain compliance with payer requirements and company policies
Qualifications
- Active Arizona Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant License
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program or related field meeting state requirements
- Current CPR Certification
- Article 9 Certification
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work independently in a home health setting
- Pediatric experience preferred but not required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
