Technician – I
This entry-level position supports County project managers and architects in delivering capital improvement projects across County facilities. The role assists with maintaining organized project files and tracking design and construction documentation, including meeting notes, schedules, invoices, submittals, and RFIs. With support from Capital Improvement staff, there are opportunities to manage routine projects, including overseeing the design, procurement, and installation of standard office furniture, as well as coordinating associated staff relocations.
The position also supports early project analysis and approvals by assisting in the development of diagrams, presentations, technical drawings and other materials needed to advance projects. In addition, it maintains master floor plans and tracks space allocations for departments across the County, requiring strong AutoCAD skills.

Technician – II
This position supports County project managers and architects in delivering complex capital improvement projects across County facilities. The role assists with maintaining organized project files and tracking design and construction documentation, including meeting notes, schedules, invoices, submittals, and RFIs. It also leads the procurement process for office and workstation furniture for space modifications, working independently with County departments to understand their needs and help guide decisions.
The position coordinates directly with IT, electrical teams, and movers to ensure all work and relocations are properly sequenced and completed efficiently. With support of County project managers and architects, develops scopes of work and oversees routine construction activities related to maintenance and minor space modifications. The position also supports early project analysis and approvals by assisting in the development of diagrams, presentations, technical drawings and other materials needed to advance projects. In addition, it maintains master floor plans and tracks space allocations for departments across the County, requiring strong AutoCAD skills.
