The Role
We are seeking a skilled Construction Project Manager to join their growing team. This individual will be responsible for managing all aspects of construction projects from start to finish, ensuring work is completed on schedule, within budget, and in line with quality and safety standards. The role involves coordination across internal departments, design professionals, and subcontractors, with a focus on efficient execution and stakeholder satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead planning, budgeting, scheduling, and overall project execution for commercial construction projects.
- Oversee subcontractors and vendors to ensure adherence to scope, timeline, and quality standards.
- Review architectural and engineering plans for constructability and cost-effectiveness.
- Serve as the primary liaison between internal teams, clients, and external consultants.
- Manage change orders, track project costs, and update stakeholders on budget status.
- Ensure compliance with applicable building codes, safety procedures, and internal standards.
- Support junior team members and contribute to a collaborative project team environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (preferred).
- 5 years of commercial project management experience; experience with new ground-up construction strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated success managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong knowledge of project scheduling, cost tracking, and construction contracts.
- Effective communicator and problem solver with the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
- Proficient in construction management platforms and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to job sites as needed.
