The Accounting Manager will support the day-to-day accounting operations of the organization across multiple entities. This role is responsible for overseeing general ledger activity, account reconciliations, month-end close, reporting, cash management, tax support, audit preparation, and process improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations across multiple entities
- Oversee general ledger activity and ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial records
- Support the month-end and year-end close process, including journal entries, reconciliations, analyses, and reporting
- Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations and related supporting schedules
- Monitor daily cash activity, including transfers, disbursements, payroll funding, and related reporting
- Prepare regular financial and operational reports to support business needs and leadership decision-making
- Assist with consolidated financial reporting and multi-entity accounting processes
- Support tax reporting requirements, including preparation and filing of various business-related tax reports
- Coordinate and support external audit requests, year-end reviews, and other compliance-related activities
- Assist with insurance-related accounting activities, reporting, renewals, and related documentation
- Partner with internal departments and external vendors to resolve accounting issues and improve workflow efficiency
- Help maintain strong internal controls, sound accounting practices, and compliance with company policies
- Participate in the development and improvement of accounting procedures and reporting processes
- Support cash stewardship and related treasury activities
- Supervise, mentor, and support assigned staff, including team members involved in payables and related accounting functions
- Assist with special projects, ad hoc reporting, and financial analysis as needed
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required
- 5 years of progressive accounting experience
- Prior experience in general ledger accounting, reconciliations, financial reporting, and month-end close required
- Management or supervisory experience preferred
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial controls, and reporting processes
- Experience working in a multi-entity environment strongly preferred
- Experience supporting audits, tax filings, and compliance reporting preferred
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365, including strong Excel skills
- Ability to work effectively across departments and build strong professional relationships
- Sound judgment and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately

Salary : $140,000 - $160,000
