We are seeking individuals with 5 years of Engineer / Project Engineer experience, who are familiar with heavy construction and who have a focus on water plants, wastewater plants, industrial electrical, and industrial facilities. Ideal candidates possess strong personal initiative, excellent planning and problem-solving capabilities, effective interpersonal skills, and an unwavering commitment to safety.

Position Overview

Responsibilities
- Able to review, coordinate, submit, and track all project submittals
- Write construction-work plans, including form/pour drawings, major pick plans, and layout of pipe/equipment/conduit
- Analyze survey reports, maps, drawings, blueprints, and other mechanical and process piping data to plan projects
- Manage project cost and performance with field personnel to track, control, and deliver successful results
- Generate job cost reports for all projects involved
- Inspect project sites to monitor progress and ensure conformance to design specifications and safety standards
- Track and submit claims and changes in scope
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, or related
- 5 years of experience working in the mechanical/plant/electrical industry
- Ability to meet fast-paced, changing schedules and priorities
- Keen awareness of industry recommended practices
- OSHA 10-Hour Certification required
- Microsoft Office proficiency
- Valid driver’s license
- Local projects (within 1-2 hours of the main office)
- Industrial electrical construction experience, a plus
- Site pipe and site civil experience, a plus
