Duties
- Perform lawn mowing, edging, trimming, and fertilization to maintain healthy and attractive turf
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and farm machinery to carry out landscaping projects efficiently and safely
- Apply pest control treatments to protect lawns from insects and diseases
- Operate vehicles such as trucks or trailers to transport equipment and materials between job sites
- Conduct soil assessments and implement lawn care strategies tailored to specific client needs
- Assist with planting, aeration, overseeding, and irrigation system installation or repairs
- Follow safety protocols while handling chemicals, machinery, and tools to ensure a secure work environment
Experience
- Prior experience in lawn care, landscaping, or farming is highly preferred
- Familiarity with pest control methods and lawn maintenance techniques
- Hands-on knowledge of operating hand tools, power tools, farm machinery, and driving company vehicles
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions with physical stamina and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients
- Basic understanding of agriculture or horticulture principles is a plus
