As a Survey Party Chief, you'll play a critical role in ensuring accuracy and quality across active construction sites.
- Establish control lines and elevations for construction layout
- Perform as-built surveys and verify field conditions
- Conduct topographic and cross-section surveys
- Calculate quantities to support project planning and payment
- Maintain and calibrate survey equipment
- Lead and mentor Survey Technicians and Trainees
- Collaborate with project engineers and field teams
- Keep detailed documentation of survey activities
- 2 years of technical surveying or engineering training
- At least 1 year of construction surveying experience (or equivalent)
- Strong knowledge of modern surveying equipment and methods
- Ability to read blueprints and perform geometric calculations
- Leadership mindset with the ability to guide field crews
