As a Survey Helper, you'll support the survey crew on active construction sites. You'll play a key role in ensuring projects are built accurately and safely.
- Assist with layout, staking, and grade verification
- Hold prism poles, grade rods, and measuring tools
- Set stakes, hubs, and markers for construction layout
- Help mark elevations, slopes, and alignment points
- Support roadway, utility, and earthwork surveying
- Load, transport, and maintain survey equipment
- Follow all safety procedures and attend daily briefings
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license & reliable transportation
- Basic math skills and ability to read a tape measure
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Strong work ethic and desire to learn a skilled trade
- Ability to work early mornings, overtime, and occasional weekends
- Lift up to 50 lbs
- Stand, walk, bend, kneel, and work on uneven terrain
- Work in active construction zones and varying weather conditions
- Recent high school grads or trade school students
