- Coordinate, support and review recurring payroll and related processes for completeness and accuracy.
- Review new employee information loaded into the accounting software from the on-boarding systems for accuracy; makes edit and improvements to the processes as needed
- Processes certain confidential payrolls; train on all confidential payrolls in case back up is needed
- Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state and local regulatory rulings impacting payroll through actual set-up and filings
- Reconcile general ledger payroll accounts as part of quarterly financial statement preparation
- Prepare and/or coordinate the execution of special reports with external consultants to improve payroll processes; then train on related best practices
- Respond to employees' questions; resolving issues including pay stub access and related issues
- Perform additional assignments per direction of supervisor(s)
