Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and guide them to their tables with a positive attitude.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using a POS system (Clover) ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff.
• Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales.
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation.
• Manage multiple tables efficiently through excellent time management skills during busy hours.
• Assist with food handling, sanitation, and food safety protocols to uphold health standards.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering duties and basic math calculations.
• Support other team members with bussing tables, resetting stations, or hosting duties as needed.
• Foster guest relations by providing personalized service, addressing concerns promptly, and ensuring a positive dining experience.

Requirements

• Previous restaurant or food service experience is required, no exceptions.
• Familiarity with POS systems is a plus.
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor.
• Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills for clear order-taking and guest interaction.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper sanitation procedures.
• Experience in food preparation, serving, bussing, or host/hostess roles is advantageous.
• Basic math skills for cash handling and order calculations.
• Culinary or kitchen experience can be beneficial but is not mandatory.
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays as required in hospitality settings.
